Hi, I’m Lauren
I’m a national board-certified health and wellness coach and the mom of a 6-year-old named Oliver (Ollie), and a 1-year-old named Cora —and I know how transformative motherhood can be.
Pregnancy and postpartum—the fourth trimester and beyond—gave me a whole new perspective on my body, mind, life, and priorities. As I grew into motherhood, I realized my idea of health and wellness was evolving too. The things I needed to be healthy, happy, and fulfilled had changed, along with everything in my life.
I’ve experienced the ups and downs of health and wellness: anxiety, depression, injuries, chronic pain, moving across states, career changes, and finding new communities.
Those seasons have challenged me beyond belief—and they’ve allowed me to grow in ways I couldn’t have imagined. It was on the other side of a challenging postpartum period that I realized I wanted to help other moms find their own definition of health and wellness.
Despite having a smooth pregnancy and birth, I was not prepared for how hard the postpartum period would be as a new mom. During those first few years, I had to learn how to care for my mind and body in new ways—and I want to help other moms do that too.
No matter what challenges you are going through, you can be healthy and resilient.
My journey is a testament to that. Well-being looks different for everyone, but it’s always possible to be oriented toward health, no matter what season of life you’re in. Coaching takes a compassionate, holistic approach that takes into account the realities and complexities of your life. That’s what I’m here to provide.
I love coaching because it allows me to help other people, using the skills I’ve honed in my professional and personal life. I have a background in human development and school counseling—I was trained as an elementary school counselor alongside people becoming therapists, which gave me experience in counseling skills that apply far beyond the educational setting.
That solution-focused approach, coupled with my specific training and knowledge about behavior change, has helped me develop a nuanced, empathetic view of human growth. It’s what allows me to help my coaching clients find the resources, strengths, and habits they need to meet their goals—and transform their lives.
My mission is to improve the well-being of women during the early years of motherhood through a holistic approach focused on growth and empowerment.
My goal is to empower moms to make sustainable changes in their lives, shifting from feeling overwhelmed and disconnected to balanced, strong, and resilient. Through intentional work and support, women can rediscover their identity and return to their authentic selves, enabling them to better care for themselves and their loved ones.
Values
-
Building self-awareness, learning new information and skills, and approaching the learning process with curiosity are key to changing our health and our lives for the better.
-
Connection, both with ourselves and our communities, helps us thrive.
-
Behavior change is challenging and requires both self-compassion and a caring, empathetic partner to process and move through the journey with.
-
Rather than approaching women’s health in a fragmented way, I believe that every aspect of health and the whole person should be considered.
-
I want to help you reconnect with your intuition and inner wisdom, uncovering who you are and what you want most for yourself and your loved ones.
